Case Study: Collingwood School Extreme Weather Event Exercise

Tabletop Exercise and ICS Training

In 2018, Ally facilitated a Tabletop Exercise at Collingwood School in West Vancouver to simulate an emergency scenario in which a sudden and unexpected snowfall trapped several students and staff members within the building. The project was preceded by two half-day refresher sessions on the Incident Command System (ICS). Feedback from Collingwood staff indicated that the exercise significantly contributed to increased engagement and expansion within their Emergency Management program.
