Case Study: Sun Peaks Resort Wildfire Preparedness Exercise

Tabletop Exercise

During the summer of 2023, Ally partnered with Sun Peaks Resort to conduct a comprehensive two-day Table-top Exercise (TTX) centered around a wildfire scenario. The first day of the TTX concentrated on the tactical evacuation of Sun Peaks in response to an approaching interface wildfire. In the second day, the focus shifted to the return to Sun Peaks and the subsequent recovery efforts anticipated. The participation of key stakeholders was vital to the exercise’s success, allowing all involved parties to collaboratively prepare and coordinate ahead of the wildfire season.
